Kanga" textile and "MACHAKOS" sisal bags directly from Africa. Kanga, a printed fabric born in East Africa, has its roots in the mid-19th century. The fabric is full of bold colours and abundant patterns. Machakos" is a basket bag woven by hand by women in Machakos village, Kenya, who colour sisal hemp with plant roots and other dyes in between farm work. As part of fair trade activities rooted in local communities and lifestyles, a portion of the proceeds are used to invest in educational and welfare facilities.
